    Third parties' floor temperature sensors
      - Can I use the thermostat with third-party temperature sensors?
      - Yes, you can, but not all models support this feature.

      Thermostats manufactured by the Teplolux company use sensors with the resistance of 6.8 kOhm at 25°C.
      The use of third-party sensors is possible with digital thermostats, such as Teplolux 520, SE200, MSC300, MCS350, EcoSmart25, OKE-20 etc. To do this, select the resistance corresponding to the used sensor in the menu: 6.8; 10; 12; 15; 33 or 47 kOhm. The choice of the required sensor resistance is carried out according to the instructions, by default the setting corresponds to the standard sensor "Teplolux" - 6.8 kOhm supplied in the kit.

      An example of names of third-party sensors and their parameters: Teploluxe = 6.8 kOhm, Aube = 10 kOhm, Warmup = 12 kOhm, Devi = 15 kOhm, Eberle = 33 kOhm, Ensto = 47 kOhm.
          Increase the wire length for the floor temperature sensor
            - Can I increase the wire length for the floor temperature sensor?
            - Yes, it is permissible to lengthen it up to 10 meters with a telephone distribution wire or twisted pair cable (with 0.2 mm2 cross section)
                What to do if the air sensor readings deviate from the real temperature values?
                  Some thermostat models are equipped with an air temperature sensor.
                  The temperature determined by the air sensor may differ from the actual room temperature due to the fact that the sensor is installed in the device housing. The deviation of the temperature readings is not rated. The device is slightly heated in the course of its normal operation; the readings are also influenced by the thermostat location. The App and the device menu provide a possibility to correct the air temperature readings by up to 5 or 9 degrees which is enough in most cases (the procedure of the correction, in the device model supports it, is described in the Manual).
                  If the floor sensor is not used, or there is a need to control the heating solely based by air temperature, then as an alternative, you can connect the same floor temperature sensor (as the one installed in the screed) and place it outside the device housing. In this case, the thermostat will control heating solely by the air temperature (the floor temperature will not be detected in this case), and the application will display the air temperature in the area provided for the floor temperature. The built-in air temperature sensor will need to be disabled.
                      Thermostats. Non-standard application
                        • The maximum total current of the devices connected directly to the control module must not exceed 16 A, and the load power must not exceed 3500 W.
                        • Our thermostats can be used to control warm water floors and other indoor heating systems.
                        • If a thermostat is installed to control water heating systems, then a normally closed thermostatic head is connected to terminals 3 and 4 (load) according to the User Manual / Technical Certificate of the device.
                        • In case of non-standard application of the thermostat, its output relay is used as an ON/OFF control.
                          Namely: when the temperature drops below the set value, the relay on the thermostat switches and generates a 220V AC voltage control signal at terminals 3 and 4. When the temperature rises above the setting, the voltage at terminals 3 and 4 disappears.
                        • The remote sensor of the thermostat can be installed both in the room to measure the air temperature, and directly on the return flow pipe of the heat carrier. The remote and built-in sensors can be used in parallel or separately, choosing the required one.

                        What to do if the thermostat hangs up?
                        1. Make sure that all manipulations with the device and its settings are made strictly in accordance with the User Manual (Technical Certificate).
                        2. Disconnect the thermostat from the mains, remove the voltage from the device (turn OFF the circuit breaker on the distribution panel).
                        3. Apply voltage to the device (turn ON the circuit breaker on the distribution panel), turn ON the thermostat.
                        4. Reset the thermostat to default settings (if it is provided by the User Manual).
                        How do I reset my settings?
                        Some thermostats provide a reset to default values.

                        After the default values reset: the heating schedule and temperature values set by you will be cancelled, the set comfort temperature will be 28 °С, the set economy and anti-freezing temperature will be 12 °С
                        The constant temperature maintenance mode will be set, with the control by the floor temperature sensor (28 °С) and the limitation by the air temperature sensor (30 °С), at that the self-learning feature will be enabled.

                        To reset the Teplolux TP 520 Thermostat, in the locked device condition press and hold the "+" and "-" buttons for more than 3 seconds. The thermostat turns OFF. Turn it ON.
                        Troubleshooting
                        The thermostat seems to be overheated.
                        Slight heat is normal.
                        If the heating is excessive, the possible causes and ways to eliminate them are as follows:
                        • installation wires in the thermostat terminals are not tightened enough - Check and tighten the installation wires in the thermostat terminals
                        • the thermostat is installed in a place with poor heat dissipation (for example, on a sandwich panel with mineral wool) - Ensure good heat dissipation
                        The current temperature is below the set value, but heating is not switching ON
                        Some thermostats have a built-in air temperature sensor. The main function of this sensor is to limit heating by air temperature
                        To ensure normal operation of the device, set the limiting temperature value above the current room temperature or select another heating option.
                        When operating in the program mode, the scheduled comfort period has not yet come, but the heating has already turned ON
                        This is preheating with the self-learning mode enabled. If you need to turn ON the heating strictly at the set intervals, disable the self-learning mode.
                        The thermostat is OFF but the floor is still heating.
                        The relay may be faulty (sealing has occurred). You can check is as follows: change the set temperature in order to turn ON / OFF the heating. When turning ON / OFF the heating, a distinctive click should be heard inside a properly operating device. If this does not happen, you must contact the warranty service for diagnostics, or apply to the claims office.
                        The lamp on the mechanical thermostat does not light up
                        On TP 110, 111 Thermostats, the indication may not turn on for the following reasons:
                        • no voltage in the network - Provide 220 VAC power supply
                        • the temperature sensor is not connection – Check the sensor connection
                        • faulty temperature sensor - replace the sensor
                        The lamp lights up at the very end of the adjustment dial position
                        On TP 110, 111 Thermostats the indication can be turned on in this way for the following reasons:
                        • the adjustment dial is improperly installed on the rod – Install the disk properly (according to the Manual)
                        • faulty temperature sensor - replace the sensor
                        The thermostat displays "H1 (HI)". The floor is not heated.
                        The HI display means the sensor fault detected.
                        If possible, measure the resistance of the floor temperature sensor - it should be 6.8 kOhm at 25°C. If the readings on the multimeter do not correspond to this value / deviate greatly from it, then the sensor must be replaced by yourself, or call a Warranty Service employee to do this. If the thermostat is under warranty, the sensor will be replaced on a warranty. If the warranty period is over, then you can purchase the sensor at any sales office.
                        The thermostat displays FAULT 3
                        The floor temperature has not reached the set value within 72 hours (at that the current floor temperature is displayed in large figures).
                        • To be able to start normal operation of the warm floor system and to ensure a possibility of warming up / heating the floor, it is necessary to preheat the room and the floor with additional heating to a positive temperature, above the minimum allowable (see the Manual). Then turn ON the underfloor heating in the "constant temperature maintenance mode", as well as constantly use the "anti-freezing mode".
                        • You need to lower the set temperature by a few degrees to the actually achieving temperature.
                        • If the above requirements are met, but the problem is not resolved, you can send this thermostat (in fact, only the upper control board is required) to our Warranty Service for reprogramming and we will remove this error by re-flashing the device
